The Administrative Law Competition is designed to give 1Ls trial experience without using any formal rules of evidence. Therefore, the hearing will be before a quasi-judicial agency. Competitors are not required to know any local, state, or federal court rules, nor conduct any outside research. All materials necessary to compete will be provided. Competitors are, however, responsible for providing their own witnesses. The competition takes place annually in the spring.

In order to get an idea of the competition, feel free to take a look at the Spring 2008 Problem.

Pre-Requisites for Administrative Competition Participation

This competition is only open to 1L students with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0.
